This garment, worn in the 15th century, is put on over a doublet.
It lets the doublet be glimpsed at the neck and sleeves when it has openings there.
The garment is full and has pleating pre-set by sewing; the sleeves are full with pleating at the shoulders.
It opens with discreet hooks fixed on the lining side.
The noble version has fur on the hem, cuffs, collar and sleeve openings (if present).
Prices are given for a garment lined with fine linen, with a total length between 78 cm and 90 cm maximum.
When seams are machine-sewn they are barely visible, only deep in the pleats along the body. The fur needs to be 50% hand-sewn in any case.
