Women’s hood 15th century

This hood is characteristic of the 15th century for women.
It is worn open, and can be pinned to the dress to help keep it in place.
It has a long liripipe. It can be used against the cold as a scarf, tied around the head or simply left hanging.
It is often seen worn with the edge of the face opening folded back all around the head, and it never seems to be a different colour (which implies this hood probably has no lining).
It can be worn over the linen St Bridget’s coif.

One size, 100% wool with visible hand-sewn seams.
