Buttoned hood T1 (in stock)

This type of hood is typical of the 14th century. It is fitted and buttons at the front.
It is often found on women but is also seen on men (although it seems less common).
Women can wear it unbuttoned over another linen coif. This later gave rise to the open hood of the 15th century.
