Men’s tunic 14th century “Bocksten”

The tunic is worn by all social statuses before the appearance of the doublet (around 1360).
It is worn as the second layer, so over the linen shirt.
The cut becomes more fitted than in the 13th century on the bust, with a flare starting from the waist or belt, and a length that can shorten and stop above the knee.
The neckline most often seems to be round.
The sleeves can be buttoned on the forearms or straight but fitted.
It can still be seen worn by those of low status during the 15th century.
