Pleated mantle (mid-thigh)

This garment, worn in the 15th century, is put on over a doublet.
It lets the doublet be glimpsed at the neck and sleeves when it has openings there.
The garment is full and has pleating pre-set by sewing; the sleeves are full and most often have pleating at the shoulders.
It opens with discreet hooks fixed on the lining side.

Prices are given for a garment lined with fine linen, with a maximum length of 90 cm.
