Long braies

Long linen braies, whose origin goes back to the Gauls, until the early 14th century.
They generally reach mid-calf.
A drawstring lets you tighten each leg below the knee. Very useful when you want to add separate hose over them.
They are slit along the inside of the leg.
2 eyelets let the waist cord show through, so that separate hose can be tied to it.
