Hood worn from about 1330 to 1450.
It has a long liripipe, and is longer than the 13th-century hood so as to cover the shoulders.
It can be worn in several ways, notably as a hat.
It is seen across all social classes, but after 1450 it is found mostly among older people or those of middle to low status.
